Prerequisite: Any university or university/college preparation course in science

    Course Description:
This course develops students’ understanding of Earth and its place in the universe. Students investigate the properties of and forces in the universe and solar system, analyze scientific techniques used to study them, and examine Earth’s materials, internal and surficial processes, and geological history. Students explore how Earth’s systems interact and change over time, and how these processes impact daily life. The course integrates concepts from biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics and prepares students for postsecondary studies in science, astronomy, and environmental studies.
