Course Description:
This course focuses on refining students’ use of the creative process to create and present two- and three-dimensional artworks using a variety of traditional and emerging media. Students will critically analyze artworks and explore connections between art and society. The studio program allows exploration of diverse materials, techniques, and processes, while making connections to personal, historical, contemporary, and cultural contexts. Students will develop technical, analytical, and reflective skills, and prepare a portfolio for postsecondary art programs or public presentation.
